Billy Rankin is the sole proprietor and Lead Instructor for Intuition Consulting who specializes in professional level training courses for recreationalists and professionals who manage risk in dynamic environments and require medical and/or avalanche training and certification.  Billy has been a medical and avalanche professional for over 25 years and has a plethora of real life experience and teaching expertise.  Billy a WEMT-B has patient care experience in ambulance, search and rescue, and ski patrol settings.  He has taught many different levels of medical courses up to Wildernesses First Responder for over 20 years with the Emergency Care & Safety Institute, NOLS Wilderness Medicine, and Desert Mountain Medicine.  Billy has worked as an avalanche practitioner in several diverse settings including back country ski guiding, ski patrolling, avalanche forecasting, and mechanized ski guiding.  He has also taught avalanche courses for over 20 years and is currently an AIARE Rec 1 & 2 Course Leader, Pro 1 & 2 Instructor, and an AIARE Instructor Trainer.  Billy brings his years of diverse experience to create dynamic courses designed to prepare participants to manage risk in real life situations.  Anyone who has taken a course with Billy will attest to his dynamic and engaging personality, solid public speaking skills, and precise delivery of the curriculum.
